What to expect
Pick Up
Depending on your location, we will pick you up in an air-conditioned minibus between 07:15 a.m. and 08:00 a.m. and then guide you to the pier of departure (Bangrak or Thong Krut), in the north/east or south of Koh Samui. Step by step, all other participants are collected for this day trip until the entire travel group is completely together.
Boat Trip
The speedboat leaves around 8:30 a.m. (30 to 45 minutes before other speedboat tours) and arrives first after an interesting 60-minute boat trip under normal sea conditions at Koh Wua Talap. We will then take you to the viewpoint (Pha Jun Jaras Viewpoint) at the top of the park, at more than 200m high from sea level. We arrive first on this island, and we can enjoy ourselves alone most of the time, around 1 hour before other tours arrive. Here we spend around 90-minutes where we can almost always see the wild monkeys, and before we take the boat, we enjoy a short swim, refresh, and sunbathing.
Snorkeling
Around 11:00 a.m., we board the boat again, heading north, cruising around the 42 islands and amazing rocks to reach Koh Wao. At the time we arrive, most of the other boats are already gone. Here you have time enough (around 60 minutes) to explore the unique underwater world or enjoy the view over the Gulf of Thailand. A little aperitif will be served on the boat: soft drinks, some beers, a homemade cocktail, fresh fruits, and snacks.
Koh Mae Koh (mother island)
After the snorkeling, around 12:30 p.m., we ship back to the south, see other rock formations like Pirate’s Head, Monkey Praying, the wild nature of Angthong Park, and stop at Mae Koh Island with the famous green lagoon (emerald lake). Here you can ascend to another viewpoint (15-20 minutes), or just stay on the edge of the lake to observe marine life from a small pontoon for another 60 minutes.
Lunch
After the mother island, around 2:30 p.m., we will have lunch on the fisherman’s island (Koh Phaluai), a good Thai meal in a stilted restaurant. You can enjoy the breathtaking view of the beauty of the marine park with its 42 island groups and the azure sea in different colors. Now you will have enough time to dine in this fantastic atmosphere. During lunch, we can see many calaos birds.
Relax on the beach
After lunch, around 3:30 p.m., we go to a beautiful beach of Koh Phaluai (Talè Wek or Song Pee Nong), and we see the James Bond Island of Angthong (not the real one from Phang Nga Bay but a similar one) for a last stop enjoying the beauty of the park.
Back to Samui
Around 4:00-4:30 p.m., we will start to return the way back to the starting point on Koh Samui. If the sea is calm, we should arrive there around 5:00-5:30 p.m. Lean back and let the impressions sink in when you see the rugged, rocky landscape and the water shimmering in different shades of blue.
Drop Off
We will pick you up in an air-conditioned minibus from the pier of arrival around 5:15-5:45 p.m. and then guide you back to the accommodation you have deposited. Step by step, all other participants of the day trip will be dropped off until the entire tour group has completely reached their accommodations.

You will receive a booking confirmation as well as another email, including your final pick-up time, until 18:00 the day before your selected tour date! Please check the given information and show the email to the driver waiting for you at the general car park of your hotel or accommodation! If you have booked for tomorrow after 17:30, then you will receive your pick up time until 21:00!

1. We recommend to bring your own towel, sturdy shoes for the ascent to the viewpoint on Koh Wua Talap.
2. Life jackets are on board for each participant (Pregnant women are not allowed to join the tour).
3. If the road to your accommodation is too steep or inaccessible, we will have to pick you up at a nearby alternative pick-up location, which you need to reach on your own. If this is the case, you will receive a Google Maps location link.
4. With a maximum of only 14 guests on the tour.
5. Depending on the weather and traffic conditions, the program can be adjusted.

You can cancel your order free of charge up to 24 hours before your selected tour date (ToS: § 3).
For a free cancellation, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your tour date.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before your tour date, you must pay the full purchase amount.
If you do not reach the meeting point in time, the local operator is entitled to full payment. Any changes made by yourself on your tour date can not be accepted free of charge.
Cut-off times are based on Thai local time (GMT+7).

We ran into some rain storms which impacted visibility but still got to do some fun snorkelling. I am taking off one star because I was told to be ready no later than 7:15, and I couldn’t get on to the company to confirm if the driver was still coming to pick me up late. He was late, which wasn’t an issue, but not being able to properly contact the tour company was.
The trip was amazing: a small group, they always tried to bring us to each spot before the big boats, refreshing drinks were provided, and the crew was incredibly attentive and caring. The guide, Superman, was absolutely charismatic! I will definitely recommend you to my friends. Keep up the great work!
Wir hatten eine wunderschönen Tag im Nationalpark. Wir waren nur 12 Leute plus die Crew, das war wirklich sehr gut und angenehm.
Yai ist ein super Tour Guide und hat den Tag gut und lustig gestaltet. Großes Lob auch a den Captain, er hat uns gut und sich bei dem Wellengang 🌊 zurück nach Samui gebracht.

Tout était très bien organisé ; pick-up à notre hôtel, trajet en bateau, arrêt pour monter en haut de l'île mère et départ avant que les gros bateaux remplis de monde n'arrivent, arrêt baignade sur une île magnifique, arrêt snorkeling pour voir des poissons incroyables et des coraux extraordinaires, arrêt déjeuner buffet sympa et retour !
L'équipe est très sympa, très agréable, et connaît bien les lieux et les habitudes des autres touristes ; nous avons eu l'impression d'être assez seuls pendant tout cette journée.
Nous sommes très contents d'avoir choisi le VIP 16 personnes max et ne regrettons pas la différence de prix avec les autres formules proposées.
We got picked up just in time with a nice Minibus. The captain and the crew let us felt always safe and take care. The Lunch buffet was okay with options for everyone. I was happy to have my Nike with me for the ascent to the viewpoint. The landscape was, as always, a dream. Personally, I prefer the small group size of this excursion, that was great for the snorkeling. Top!
We really enjoyed our trip with you. And we will certainly recommend it. Next time it would be nice when you are not with a French speaking group and guide being dutch but that didn’t change anything about the experience and service

Don’t pay for VIP semi private. It’s the same as the regular tour. Nothing VIP about it. Host wasn’t friendly. Kayaking was about 200m loop for about 10 minutes. Snorkeling was basic. Lots of boats around. Probably one of the lamest tours I’ve ever done.

Es war von der Abholung bis zum zurück bringen alles perfekt organisiert. Das Team war sehr freundlich und hat uns während des Ausflugs sehr gut versorgt. Das Mittagessen war sehr gut organisiert und alle Speisen haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Zum Schnorcheln gab Schnorchel und Flossen und unser Guide ist mit einer Boje mit geschwommen an der man sich festhalten konnte falls man nicht mehr konnte, was eine sehr beruhigende Absicherung war. Jeder Hotspot wurde angefahren bevor die Touristenmassen kamen und wir hatten alle Spots fast für uns alleine! Wir können die Tour und den Veranstalter bestens weiterempfehlen! DANKE an das Team für den tollen Tag!

Wir hatten eine sehr freundliche Crew an Board. Alles extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit. Es wurden an den schönsten Kulissen pärchen Fotos vom Guide gemacht.
Das Mittagessen auf einer einheimischen Insel war sehr schön angerichtet und war sehr lecker.
Beim Baden am Strand werden für alle Bastmatten ausgelegt. Alles rund um echt gut organisiert.
Danke, war das Geld wert, auch die kleine Gruppe von nur 16 Personen war echt angenehm.

Esperienza emozionate dall'inizio alla fine. Picchi sul mare, snorkeling fantastico tra pesci e coralli, canoa, spiaggia deserta DA FILM! eravamo nella BARCA N.2 con YAI davvero una persona splendida, ci ha fatto vivere una giornata indimenticabile , ci ha scattato anche tante foto che poi ci ha gentilmente inviato tramite whatsapp. Davvero grazie YAI , sei fantastico!
the park is gorgeous. i appreciate the boat try to avoid the crouds and bring us to the places before others arrive. in my opinion it could be improve providing fins for the snorkel and explaining a bit about the origin of the park geologically or the animals living inside/inder the water
we had a marvellous time. Especially because of the staff and that we booked semi private tour. It felt we were almost alone in a crowded space. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Only downside was we had to leave earlier due to the wind/rain, but that’s out of their hands.

The trip to the Angthong Marine Park by Speedboat exceeded our expectations. The tour was led by our incredibly cheerful and knowledgeable guide YAI and his team. The boat was very clean (and fast!). Yai and his team took great care of us and all the guests. It was great day on the Bay of Thailand exploring the islands. The highlight was the incredibly beautiful beach we spent the final hour of the tour at enjoying the pristine turquoise water and silky sandy beach. I recommend Yai and his team at Happy Samui.

Snorkeling through cave, kayaking, lunch and then free time on a deserted beach - everyone had a great time. Peko was a positive, energetic and helpful guide which made a positive impact on our day.
